Jumbo Home Loan
Jumbo loans, also called “non-conforming home loans,” are mortgages with loan amounts greater than the conforming loan limit, which is currently $417,000. Any amount larger than this is considered a Jumbo Loan. Jumbo loans can be fixed rate mortgages, adjustable rate mortgages, or FHA home loans with up to 96.5% financing and new higher loan limits.
We can help you choose depending on your needs, and we currently accommodate loan request amounts up to $5 million. Jersey Mortgage Company offers an FHA Jumbo loan with only minimum 3.5% down and low mortgage insurance, and a Conventional Jumbo Loan with a minimum 10% down and low mortgage insurance.
Live Where You Work (LWYW)
The Live Where You Work (LWYW) program is a NJ housing mortgage incentive program that provides low-interest home loans for families to purchase homes in New Jersey towns where they are employed. The goal of this program is to build stronger communities by encouraging people to live closer to their jobs, reducing the need for cars and increasing the use of alternative transportation like walking, biking and public transit. LWYW offers home buyers a low-interest 30 or 40-year, fixed-rate, first mortgage.
